A Blogger Saved My Life
As you have read in one of my previous posts, I attended the SNAP 2014 Conference in Salt Lake City in April. One of our guests speakers was internet sensation – Mr. Alex Boye. Alex was not only a great entertainer but he moved us with his story.
A Little Alex History – According To Alex:
Alex, originally from London, tells us that he had been working at the entertainment business for years and years. As time goes on, your life begins to change and you find yourself married and then along come the children and with these new responsibilities the in-laws start to frown on one’s career choice if that choice is not providing what they think it should be providing for their daughter and grandchildren. Alex, bites the bullet and goes and gets a “real” job. After a couple of days sitting in an office doing paperwork, Alex is suffocating and just can’t stand it – but he continues on – for his family – UNTIL the day his wife calls and asks,
“Alex, have you seen your YouTube channel?”
He replies, “Well, yes I have seen my YouTube channel. I created it.”
Of which she replies, “No dear, I mean have you seen your YouTube Channel TODAY?”
He says, “No.” and he immediately clicks over to his YouTube channel.
HIS VIDEO HAS GONE VIRAL!! He walked out of the day job right then and hasn’t looked back.
Alex then tells us that it was because of some bloggers that his video went viral. He told us that

and he means it. He so believes that statement that he asked for the help of SNAP 2014 Conference Attendees to assist him in his new video – a cover of Katy Perry’s ROAR.
Alex writes on his post: “When my career seemed like it was going nowhere, a few moms and mom bloggers began sharing my videos, and my career was suddenly revitalized. YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE. DON’T STOP BLOGGING!!!! I dedicate this video to Moms and Mom bloggers worldwide!!”
I invite all my friends and followers to view this remarkable video that Alex and some of my SNAP Sisters made. Every time I watch this video I get goose bumps and my mind is charged and I’m ready to attack life and ROAR!!
