Very Berry Christmas Drink
Need a quick holiday drink? Several of my blogger friends got together to bring you a few yummy drinks for the holidays. Aren’t we purty?
These great gals came up with some wonderful drink recipes. Take a look at all these.
My contribution is the Very Berry Christmas Drink. You can make just one or a whole pitcher full. You just need a few ingredients (you might already have these on hand).
Great thing about this drink is that you can make it with or without alcohol. You can change out the Sprite for 7-Up or Club Soda. If you don’t like bananas you can just use Strawberries. If you want to use fresh fruit you can do that too – just add ice.
This drink can be made in a blender (if you want to make several drinks) or in a Ninja or Magic Bullet that will make two medium drinks or one large one. Some days during the holiday I think I need a large one.
This evening, I made a couple of medium drinks just for Don and I. We’ve been wrapping Christmas presents for hours and we needed a little treat. I brought out the Ninja and everything else.
Drop in the frozen strawberries and fill about 1/2 the container. Now drop in 1/4 of the container size of both the blackberries and blueberries. For the Ninja, I added a cup of Sprite (Diet or Regular) and depending on the amount of alcohol you require – add that in too. Being Texans, we love Tito’s Handmade Vodka. It is made in Austin and crafted in an Old Fashioned Pot Still by America’s Original Microdistillery.
Give it all a couple of spins around in the Ninja or the blender and then dish it out. Garnish with a little whipped cream.
Add something a little extra with a small candy cane or even a few Strawberry Nerds left over from Halloween.
After you’ve tried out the Very Berry Holiday Drink, see if you might want to try out any of these too.
